Lisa HinojosaMy name is Lisa Hinojosa and I am a Certified Birth Doula and a Registered Massage Therapist. I specialize in pre-natal and infant massage. Additionally, I also teach infant massage to parents. I am the mother of two children and have been married for 30 years. Besides being a Certified Birth Doula, I also hold membership in Doulas of North America (DONA), the San Antonio Breastfeeding Coalition, Code Purple, Citizens for Gentle Birth, and CIMS. I have experience supporting medicated, un-medicated, caesarean births, home births, water births, V-BAC, and teen pregnancies. I am a volunteer Doula with San Antonio Birth Doulas. Even before I had ever heard the word “Doula”, I was doing Doula work for my family and friends. It seems to be a calling for me and a natural extension of my massage work. As your Doula, I will help provide the physical, emotional, and informational support you and your partner need to have the birth experience you are looking for. I believe in the support that a Doula can provide you and your family. My philosophy is simple. I am here to support you and your partner no matter how you choose to birth.
